Job summary

Shields Health is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant to support MRI services at multiple Massachusetts locations. The PA will perform arthrograms, administer contrast, assess patients, obtain informed consent, and provide pre- and post-procedure care in collaboration with radiologists and MRI technologists.

Requirements include MA PA licensure, NCCPA certification, and BLS. Experience with fluoroscopy procedures and site-specific privileges is preferred.

Qualifications

• PA licensure in Massachusetts required.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification and MA license.

Responsibilities

• Performs arthrograms and image-guided procedures.
• Administers contrast media per protocol and policy.
• Obtains informed consent and documents findings.
• Assesses patients before, during and after procedures.
• Travels between Shields MRI locations as needed.
