Illinois Bone and Joint Institute is excited to announce a MRI Patient Services Coordinator opportunity to join our MRI Services team at our New Lenox location. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient-centered service and supporting IBJI teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year in a medical customer service role, and familiarity with scheduling, registrations, and insurance basics. Epic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in a customer service role (medical office preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance basics is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with high-quality customer service.
• Handle scheduling and registrations to support efficient operations.
• Answer general inquiries and manage phone reception.
• Verify demographics and insurance; collect required documents.
• Support patient flow and perform pre-registration as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist where needed.
