Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking an MRI Patient Services Coordinator to join the MRI Office team at our New Lenox location. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient-centered service, accurate registration, and optimal scheduling to support IBJI’s MRI services.

Ideal candidates will have customer service experience in a medical setting, familiarity with Epic EHR, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in customer service role (medical office experience preferred).
• EHR experience (Epic experience preferred).
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information and sensitive data.
• Ability to manage scheduling and review patient demographics.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with excellent service.
• Prepare paperwork to support efficient operation and service.
• Answer general inquiries and schedule appointments.
• Phone reception, patient triage, and escalation to staff as needed.
• Registration/pre-registration and review of demographics and insurance.
• Insurance verification and referrals as required; maintain clean, safe workspace.
• Other office duties as assigned.
