Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) seeks a professional Patient Services Coordinator for the MRI office in Westmont, IL. This role focuses on patient-centered service, accurate registration, and efficient scheduling in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer service experience, familiarity with medical terminology, and proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a customer service role (medical office preferred).
• EHR experience (Epic experience preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with top-tier customer service.
• Prepare paperwork for efficient operation and excellent service.
• Answer general inquiries and schedule appointments.
• Handle phone reception, patient triage, and escalate to appropriate staff.
• Register/pre-register and review demographics, insurance, and documents.
• Check in/out procedures and patient chart management.
• Process patient payments including copays and deductibles.
• Verify insurance and manage referrals as needed.
