Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an MRI Clinical Assistant to coordinate patient care and support MRI technologists. The role includes greeting patients, escorting them to the MRI area, and preparing them for exams.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and CPR certification. Hospital experience is preferred but not required; a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• General computer skills and medical terminology necessary.
• Minimum 1-year hospital experience preferred but not necessary.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in the registration area and provide escort to the MRI changing area.
• Aid in preparing the patient for the MRI exam.
• Review the daily MRI schedule and coordinate patient care with MRI technologists.
• Maintain accurate messages and communications with patients and staff.
• Perform clerical functions including copying, faxing, and using email systems.
• Assist with supply management and inventory control in the department.
• Demonstrate competency in EMR/PACS relevant to the role.
