Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year relevant experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 180 days.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and MRI staff to identify exam order issues and ensure timely care.
• Verifies patient identity with accurate data and documents.
• Ensures completion of medical and MRI safety screening prior to exam.
• Verifies insurance authorization before patient presentation for exam.
• Provides MRI staff with patient-related information (implants, claustrophobia, special needs).
