Job summary

Orthopedic One is seeking an MRI Support role to assist Radiologic and MRI Technologists and patients in obtaining quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will prep patients for MRI exams, screen per protocol, and assist with timely scheduling and data entry.

The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in EMR/PACS, and ongoing collaboration with imaging staff to ensure all ordered imaging is completed efficiently. CPR/AED certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred ARRT registry or eligibility with MRI interest.
• CPR/AED certification required; ARRT certification pursued will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare next day MRI schedule by reviewing exams and verifying results.
• Assist MRI Technologists with patient prep and screening per protocol.
• Escort patients and support transfers for imaging exams.
• Enter data into EMR/PACS and manage imaging study requests.
• Maintain imaging rooms, stock supplies, and document logs.
• Create referrals and monitor MRI appointment scheduling.
• Upload MRI images and ensure timely availability in systems.
• Perform various clerical duties (copy, fax, file, scan, calls).
