Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a PRN MRI Patient Navigator to coordinate imaging exams from scheduling to completion. You will liaison between MRI staff and providers, assist with patient movement, positioning, histories and documentation while supporting technologists with non-technical tasks.

The role emphasizes strong communication, accurate data collection, safety screenings, and coordination of orders and insurance authorizations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year relevant experience required.
• Basic Life Support within 180 days required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and MRI staff to identify issues.
• Obtains valid orders and communicates open issues in a timely manner.
• Verifies patient data and completes safety screenings.
• Ensures insurance authorization is in place before exam.
• Provides patient education and coordinates care with MRI team.
