Job summary

GE HealthCare in Florence, SC, is hiring three Process Engineers to support a major MRI product launch at our Florence manufacturing facility. Roles cover Machining & Winding, Magnet Assembly, and Cryostat & Helium Vessel Manufacturing.

You will partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve processes, troubleshoot challenges, and scale new products into production. This onsite opportunity offers relocation assistance and a chance to grow from early-career to seasoned process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, engineering, or process improvement activities through professional work experience, internships, cooperative education programs, research, or academic projects.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and support manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process controls, and standard work.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing, assembly, and testing issues to improve quality, productivity, and process reliability.
  • Support the introduction of new products, technologies, and manufacturing methods.
  • Partner closely with production teams, quality engineers, supervisors, and fellow engineers to solve technical challenges.
  • Analyze process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Validate manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with product and process requirements.
  • Communicate technical information clearly and effectively across teams.
  • Support a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and operational excellence.
