Job summary

Shields Health Care Group in Worcester, MA is seeking an MRI Lead Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging with a focus on safety and patient comfort. This role requires MRI scanning experience and current ARRT/CPR certifications, with ARMRIT accepted at some locations.

This full-time position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule of Monday–Thursday, 8:00 am–6:30 pm, in a fast-paced clinical setting that values teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

• MRI scanning experience required.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications required; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
• Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
• Position the patient accurately and maintain comfort.
• Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
• Perform scan in accordance with center’s protocol.
• Administer intravenous contrast.
• Complete forms pertaining to patient’s exam.
• Record data in Tech Data Entry program.
• Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
• Forward data/films/CD to Radiologist after exam.
• Assist clerical staff as needed.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as required.
