Job summary

Shields Health Care Group’s MRI Technologists support the integrity of the organization with their commitment to excellence. The MRI technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment.

This position is based out of the UMass Health Alliance Leominster campus with a schedule: Monday 2p-1030p, Wednesday 12p-1030p, Friday 12p-1030p, 1 weekend a month 2p-1030p.

Qualifications

• MRI scanning experience required.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications required; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Accurately position patients and maintain comfort during exams.
• Perform scans per center protocol and administer intravenous contrast.
• Complete forms, record data, and provide films/CD to Radiologist; assist clerical staff.
• Adhere to credentialing policies.
