The position requires ARRT-MR, RT certification, a relevant degree, and at least 2 years of experience with leadership preference.

Qualifikationen

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• Associate degree, or Bachelor's degree, or Vocational School Graduate.
• 2 years' experience required.
• Previous Lead experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Creates work schedules to ensure coverage.
• Assists Radiology Leadership with evaluation and assessment of MRI personnel.
• Assists in assessing service and technical needs of equipment.
• Assists in training staff in MRI.
• Performs special assignments as needed/requested.
• Serves as a clinical resource to department staff, students, volunteers and other departments, and contributes to teamwork for quality patient care.
• Observes and coaches employees regarding performance, conduct, attendance and other matters.
• Keeps abreast of new procedures, equipment, methods and participates in their evaluation and application.
• Assists in developing new policy and procedures and recommends changes to existing policy.
• Contributes to Radiology MRI Safety Committee.
• Assists in meeting department goals related to turnaround time and throughput.
• Maintains TJC readiness and ACR accreditations.
• Accepts clinical responsibility and accountability for care quality.
• Participates with Radiology Leadership in strategic planning and goals.
• Ensures proper charges are generated for patient care services and supplies.
• Motivates and leads others; handles multiple tasks and meets deadlines.
• Works as part of a team.
