Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans area is seeking an MRI Technologist Lead to manage the daily MRI department operations, scheduling, and QA programs.

The role requires supervision, protocol updates with radiologists, safety training, and budget input; weekend/holiday coverage may be required.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years MRI/CT experience and ARRT MRI certification; a Bachelor's in related field preferred. Sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of CT/MRI/Radiology technology experience and 1 year of supervisory/management experience.
• Required ARRT MRI certification and BLS for Health Care Provider.
• Understanding of QA programs and regulatory accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the MRI department ensuring safe, efficient service.
• Schedule and oversee MRI staff training and staffing levels.
• Collaborate with radiologists on protocol changes and policy updates.
• Ensure MRI safety protocols and annual staff training.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, downtime logs, and QA checks.
• Prepare budgetary information and equipment recommendations.
