Aurora Sinai Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide advanced diagnostic imaging and serve as a resource for staff and students. You will operate MRI equipment, ensure accuracy of orders and patient safety, and contribute to department education and process improvement.

Requires ARRT MRI certification, RT credential, and BLS with typically 5 years of MRI experience. The role is full-time, on-site, with a 40-hour week and 60/40 or similar shift coverage as described.

Qualifications

• Registered Technologist (RT) with ARRT MRI certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers within 6 months
• Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology
• Typically requires 5 years of imaging experience as an MRI technologist

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day guidance and training for staff and students
• Operate MRI equipment for basic to advanced diagnostic procedures
• Ensure patient history, requisitions, contrast administration and safety protocols are followed
• Oversee records and accurate billing/coding for procedures performed
• Identify equipment issues and support quality assurance and calibration procedures
• Collaborate with departments to educate on imaging processes and patient care
