Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment, produce diagnostic-quality images, and support radiology workflows at St James Hospital in Montana.

The role requires ARRT certification, Montana licensure, BLS, and strong patient safety practices with radiation and magnetic fields. You will update electronic records, input physician orders, and participate in quality assurance and education of patients.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or diploma from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT certification and Montana licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images as directed by a Radiologist.
• Maintain patient records in EMR and update physician orders.
• Adhere to HIPAA and safety protocols for radiation and magnetic fields.
• Educate patients about imaging procedures and obtain cooperation.
• Assist with QA activities and report quality concerns to the Radiology team.
