Qualifications

• ARRT MR, ARMRIT, or NMTCB MR credentials required.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in MRI procedures, safety practices, and data evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner guidance.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with magnetic resonance interventions.
• Apply safety principles to minimize risks to patients, self, and staff.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and data acquisition needs.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
