Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in a clinical setting, ensuring patient safety and high-quality data. The role involves acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting MRI data under licensed practitioners, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The position requires ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT certification, and completion of a radiologic technology program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Graduated from a radiologic technology training program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure safety.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for accuracy, proper positioning, and technical quality; ensure proper data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with MRI safety protocols and interventional procedures.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and data acquisition needs.
