Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with (ARRT)-MR is required.

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, technical protocols, and patient care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct patient identification, proper preparation, and accurate documentation of clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize proper imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner supervision.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with MRI interventional procedures.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and data acquisition needs; ensure safety measures to minimize risks.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
