Job summary

RadNet is seeking an In-Suite Assistant to support MRI Technologists and Radiologists in a fast-paced imaging environment. You will assist with coil positioning, safety screening, patient observation, and prep, while documenting patient histories in the EMR and maintaining a clean control room.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, an approved MRI Technologist Assistant program, and a BLS certification, with at least one year in healthcare; CNA/MA designation preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an approved MRI Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training is required.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare or medical setting preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support MRI Technologists and Radiologists to promote patient safety and efficient workflows.
• Comply with HIPAA, confidentiality, and safety guidelines in a clinical environment.
• Assist in coil positioning, MRI safety screening, patient observation, and procedure prep.
• Collect and document patient histories and record in the EMR.
• Maintain a clean MRI control room and decontaminate coils and equipment.
