Job summary

Insightec is seeking a Field Service Specialist for Northern California. You will install, maintain, and repair incisionless medical systems, providing on-site service and remote troubleshooting as needed.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/biomedical/compute engineering, 3+ years in field service for medical imaging (MRI preferred), and the ability to travel up to 80% to customer sites. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• AS degree in electrical, biomedical, or computer engineering; BS preferred.
• 3+ years field service experience with medical imaging systems; MRI experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Install and implement new systems at customer sites.
• Perform periodic maintenance and repairs of deployed equipment.
• Provide technical remote support and diagnose failures.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Document service reports and maintain system records.
