Job summary

Spire Orthopedic Partners in Stamford, CT, is seeking a patient-focused team member for a per-diem MRI support role. Duties include clerical tasks, assisting patients, and ensuring smooth MRI flow while adhering to safety and documentation standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma, CPR, excellent customer service and communication skills, and MRI Level two safety training within two weeks of hire. Per-diem, varied hours with 8am–8pm shifts.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform duties with professional conduct and ethics.
  • Ability to screen patients of all ages for MRI safety.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care.
  • Handle stressful patient-flow situations.

  • Assist with transferring patients to MRI table or wheelchair.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do:
  • Demonstrated computer literacy.

  • Ability to interview and screen patients of all age groups related to safety issues with magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with patients, physicians, and other MRI center staff.
  • Knowledge of hazards involved in MRI work and precautions necessary in handling such hazards.
  • Maintain and display knowledge and understanding of the importance of accurate and timely documentation of care.
  • Ability to deal with stressful demands due to patient flow, emergencies and stat requests, and multiple interruptions.
  • Valid CPR certification.
