Job summary

nVent is seeking a MRB Technician to coordinate, document, and move nonconforming material through the MRB process. You will ensure proper identification, segregation, documentation, traceability, and timely disposition while training teammates on expectations.

You will maintain MRB data, track NCRs, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and expedite actions. Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical/associate degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, inventory, or material-control roles.
• Experience with ERP/QMS systems and NCR processing.
• Basic ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MRB material movement and NCR processing.
• Maintain MRB organization and control of material in MRB area.
• Create, process, and update NCR records in ERP/QMS system.
• Verify NCR information: part number, quantity, serial/lot, defect, location.
• Track NCRs from identification to final disposition and closure.
• Coordinate rework, inspection, scrap, supplier returns and inventory movements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and Warehouse teams.
