Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a disciplined engineer to assess and resolve product and process issues across the lifecycle. You will analyze non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and develop safe, effective engineering dispositions and improvements.

Responsibilities include supporting IPTs, communicating findings, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. A Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years of related experience are required, with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) product review.
• Must satisfy COI assessment process.
• Must meet U.S. export control requirements and be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain the required U.S. Security Clearance.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; interim/final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start.
• Employer will not sponsor visas.
• Engineering judgment and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, analyze, and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze design non-conformances and perform root cause analysis with dispositions.
• Develop interim and final engineering solutions supporting safe product operation.
• Identify and document problems affecting safety and design intent.
• Communicate findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and implement product and process improvements.
• Support IPTs and participate in design reviews.
