Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois seeks a senior engineer to assess and resolve product and process issues across the lifecycle of complex defense systems. You will work across teams to deliver engineering dispositions and safe, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities include MRB reviews, root-cause analysis of design non-conformances, and developing interim and final engineering solutions while ensuring alignment with Boeing standards and IPTs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field; 5+ years of work experience or equivalent.
• Experience performing MRB product reviews and with Defense customers.
• Must obtain U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship for clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze design non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and dispositions.
• Develop interim and final engineering solutions supporting safe operation.
• Ensure compliance with Boeing standards across suppliers and build partners.
• Support IPTs and participate in design reviews; communicate findings.
