Contract Specifics: Although the contract is initially written for 5 months, this is primarily a fiscal and legal budgeting requirement. The company has already awarded a $13M engagement for this MRB program, with funding plans extending through 2029. The team is hiring for a long-term initiative and renews contracts as funding moves through each fiscal year. In practice, this is being viewed as a multi-year opportunity, supported by a purchased services agreement and dedicated program funding, which typically provides greater stability than traditional headcount positions.
A well known Aerospace company is seeking an Aerospace or Automotive Quality Engineer (MRB)- Authority Track position to evaluate non-conforming hardware, perform technical analyses, and develop disposition recommendations in support of Material Review Board (MRB) activities. This role partners closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure non-conformances are resolved in accordance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements. The individual will progressively assume responsibility for increasingly complex NCRs while advancing through the MRB authority certification process.
