Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Michigan seeks a Mechanical Review Board Engineer to support production programs by identifying and resolving issues, defects and failures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop viable solutions under time pressure and may assist with design and development activities, including engineering changes and missile-related testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and industry practices.
• Ability to perform detailed tolerance analysis per ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to interpret and modify drawings, parts lists and specs.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead investigations.
• Experience with MRB and corrective action in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a key MRB member, review non-conforming hardware and ensure corrective action.
• Coordinate efforts within Mechanical, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
• Support weekly status meetings with leadership.
