Job summary

Hikinex in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a quality professional to manage the site Materials Review Board (MRB) process and drive containment of nonconforming materials within the manufacturing workflow.

You will review work instructions, provide feedback, and lead investigations with engineering, QA, and suppliers to ensure timely dispositions, data capture, and continuous improvement across the quality system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or a quality/engineering role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting HW development and quality management.
• Proficiency with CAD software and inspection data management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro arm, OMM, etc.)
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, CAD)
• Experience with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949 or similar QMS
• Experience with communicating with suppliers and cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manages the MRB process.
• Provide resolution and containment for nonconforming materials.
• Review Manufacturing Work Instructions and provide feedback.
• Support in providing clarification or go/no-go decisions to inspectors.
• Lead containment of nonconforming items and inspect for verification.
• Assist in root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with engineering for nonconformance dispositions.
