Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Supervise SMT/DIP line and/or MPA operations including setup, run, and shutdown.
• Production Oversight: Monitor schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate production staff to meet daily goals.
• Process & Equipment Management: Ensure line readiness with support departments.
• Quality & Compliance: Enforce IPC-A-610 and ISO standards; ensure traceability.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements; participate in Lean/Kaizen.
• Safety & 5S: Maintain a clean, safe, organized workplace; adhere to 6S.

MPA Production Supervisor

Location: Fort Worth Alliance, TX

Department: PCBA Production Department (PD)

Reports To: PCBA PD Department Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Dual In-line Package (DIP) production lines. This role ensures that production schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented.

Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight

• Supervise SMT/DIP line and/or Material Preparation Area (MPA) operations including setup, run, and shutdown.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders on-time.
• Ensuring the production WIP quantity and its aging is within the target.
• Coordinate with planning and engineering teams to resolve material or process issues.

Team Leadership

• Lead and motivate production staff to meet daily goals.
• Ensures that production operators and leaders are trained on equipment, processes, and safety.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Form and Lead the Production department’s M360 dialogue meeting.

Process & Equipment Management

• Ensures that the production line readiness by coordinating with the support departments such as PMC, PSE, QA, PME, TC, etc.
• Escalate issues affecting the production line efficiency, quality and productivity.

Quality & Compliance

• Enforce quality standards including IPC-A-610 and ISO related
• Review real time quality yield reports and escalates to the related department for support.
• Ensure traceability and documentation compliance.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Participate in Lean and Kaizen initiatives.
• Track and analyze production issues and drive root cause resolution.

Safety & 5S

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and 6S principles.
• Address and document safety concerns promptly.
