Job summary

SERVPRO Team Shaw is seeking a Moving and Packing Project Manager to lead restoration projects, balancing speed, quality and customer satisfaction. You will manage a crew, communicate with insureds and adjusters, and oversee packing, inventory, and transport of contents.

The role offers a base salary with bonus/commission opportunities and room for growth within the expanding franchise network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years moving or related field experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Basic proficiency with smartphones/tablets and job-tracking software.
• Availability for on-call rotation, evenings, weekends, or overtime.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead and motivate a team of technicians on restoration projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with leadership, customer communication, and job documentation. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong people skills who can balance quality, speed, and customer satisfaction while setting the standard for the crew. You will also:

• Oversee and manage a team and aid in the inventory, packout, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and packback of contents as part of the cleaning and restoration process
• Communicate with insureds as needed while on job sites
• Ability to manage a job from start to finish, including communication with the insured and adjuster, leading a team in the field, coordination with subcontractors, assisting with project related staffing decisions
• Ensure all operations procedures and protocols are followed by their team while on active jobs, in the warehouse, or while traveling to or from work or job locations.
• Manipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks
• Operate iCat inventory software on a company provided iPhone
• Make job related updates in the Proven Jobs Desktop and Proven Jobs Mobile application
• Take exceptional care to package contents to prevent damage during transport
• Transport contents between the client site and our warehouse facility
• Maintain equipment used in daily tasks
• Drive vehicles, including the company’s 16-foot box truck
• Drive forklift to move contents within our warehouse
• Assist with obtaining online company reviews from customers
• Ensure we have proper supplies in inventory and request inventory orders when needed
• Aid in the training of new employees
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse
• Bonus and Commission Plan with Competitve Base Salary
• Availability for overtime and on-call hours will be required during peak demand or emergency responses

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in moving or a related field
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and job-tracking software
• Availability for on-call rotation, evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed

Preferred:

• IICRC certification(s) in Water Damage Restoration, Fire/Smoke Restoration, or related areas
• Prior supervisory or lead technician experience
• Experience working with insurance adjusters or property managers
• Familiarity with SERVPRO job documentation systems (WorkCenter, DryBook, etc.)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
