Job summary

SERVPRO Franchise is seeking a Restoration Crew Chief to lead water, fire, and mold mitigation projects on-site in Garland, TX. You will supervise 1–2 technicians, manage equipment setup, and maintain safety and quality throughout each job, while communicating effectively with homeowners and insurers.

This role demands proven restoration experience, leadership, and the physical ability to work in challenging environments, including attics and crawlspaces.

Qualifications

• IICRC certification preferred (WRT/ASD).
• Experience leading a mitigation crew or senior technician role.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and access attics/crawl spaces on active job sites.
• Valid driver’s license and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead water, fire, and mold mitigation projects from start to finish.
• Demonstrate and supervise demolition, drying, moisture mapping and equipment setup.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and insurance adjusters.
• Document jobs thoroughly with photos, notes, and readings.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control on every project.
• Manage 1–2 technicians per job.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead water, fire, and mold mitigation projects from start to completion
• Perform and supervise demolition, drying, moisture mapping, and equipment setup
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and insurance adjusters
• Document jobs thoroughly (photos, notes, moisture readings)
• Ensure safety compliance and quality control on every project
• Manage 1-2 technicians per job
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and drying equipment

This role is approximately 60% field production work and 40% customer communication and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a mitigation crew or serving as senior technician
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and active job sites
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication and leadership skills

This is not an entry-level position. Restoration experience is required.
