Job summary

S2 Residential is hiring a Make Ready technician to prepare homes for new residents. You will inspect, repair, and maintain apartments, coordinate trash-out with grounds, and support the maintenance team during major projects and emergencies.

In this role you will ensure move-in readiness, perform routine maintenance, replace fixtures, and help with safety checks while reporting to the Lead Maintenance. Join a team dedicated to reliable resident service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the trash out of apartments with the grounds team.
• Inspect appliances, faucets, A/C systems, safety devices, etc., to ensure they are in working condition.
• Inspect unit construction for chipped or missing paint, flooring, or tile.
• Identify parts and materials needed to complete the unit turn promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance like replacing exterior bulbs, checking irrigation, and walking the property for liabilities.
• Complete service requests by testing safety equipment and devices, replacing blinds and A/C filters, and other tasks assigned by Lead Maintenance.
• Change front door and mailbox locks before handing unit back to the leasing team.
