Job summary

The Make Ready Technician at The Standard at Copperfield in Houston, TX ensures all vacant apartment units are move-in ready, meeting company standards and applicable laws. You will inspect units, perform repairs, and coordinate with the property team to maintain grounds and respond to emergencies as needed.

Strong English communication, computer usage, and customer service skills are essential. Ability to work on weekends/overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use a personal computer or other computer tracking systems used at the property.
• Ability to use general office equipment such as telephone, fax machine, printer, copier, and key track system.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units prior to repairs and determine make-ready needs.
• Perform general repairs/upkeep to vacant units.
• Maintain grounds and appearance of the property and common areas.
• Coordinate with property team and vendors.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and assist with on-call maintenance when required.
