Job summary

The Standard at Copperfield in Houston, TX is seeking a Make Ready Technician to ensure vacant apartment units are move-in ready and compliant with company standards and laws. You will inspect units, perform repairs, maintain grounds, coordinate with vendors, and provide excellent resident service.

This role requires reliability, ability to multi-task, and willingness to work on-call and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect the condition of all units prior to starting repairs.
• Walk vacant units to determine make-ready needs and clean as needed.
• Perform general repairs/upkeep to vacant units to company standards.
• Maintain grounds and appearance of the property and common areas.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating with vendors/contractors.
• Provide on-call pager service and emergency maintenance when required.
• Inspect buildings and alert maintenance to items needing repair.
• Participate in training such as fair housing and safety.
