Job summary

BG Staffing is seeking a Make Ready Technician in Greensboro, NC to prepare apartments for new residents. You will handle unit turns, basic electrical and plumbing tasks, and appliance troubleshooting in a fast-paced property operations setting.

Responsibilities include completing unit turns, installing hardware, and communicating progress with onsite staff. This role may be contract or contract-to-hire and requires owning your own tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Make Ready or Maintenance Technician.
• General maintenance skills including: Basic electrical, Basic plumbing, Carpentry/hardware installation.
• Appliance troubleshooting.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete unit turns and make-ready tasks.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Install hardware and troubleshoot appliances.
• Contract or Contract to Hire.
• Prepare units for move-ins through cleaning, repairs, and touch-ups.
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
• Replace fixtures, hardware, and basic components.
• Maintain safe work practices and proper tool use.
• Communicate progress with onsite staff.
