Job summary

Two Coast Living in Alexandria, VA seeks a Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments by performing maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic updates to meet company standards and ensure move-in readiness.

You will collaborate with the maintenance and property management teams to complete painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and safety checks, with a clear path to the Maintenance Technician role for high performers.

Qualifications

1 year minimum in general maintenance or make-ready/turnover work.
Experience in plumbing, electrical work, and light carpentry.
High school diploma or GED required; must be 18+.

Responsibilities

Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work: painting, repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and cleaning.
Ensure apartments meet safety and quality standards prior to move-in.
Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventive maintenance, and property upkeep as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment per company and industry safety standards.
Interact professionally with residents and team members while working across the community.
