Job summary

Two Coast Living in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartment homes by completing maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic improvements to company standards. This role ensures move-in readiness and leaves residents with a positive first impression of their home.

You will work closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams, supporting general maintenance across the property as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance or make-ready/turnover experience.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors/indoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) including painting, repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and general cleaning.
• Ensure apartments meet safety and quality standards prior to move-in.
• Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs and property upkeep.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment per safety standards.
• Interact professionally with residents and team members while working across the community.
