Job summary

Snowbird is seeking a Rental Technician & Facilities Support team member to assist guests with ski and snowboard equipment, maintain outdoor teaching areas, and support Mountain School logistics. The role blends physical tasks with tech, delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

You will need strong customer service, detailed knowledge of rentals, and proficiency with computer systems. Expect a dynamic schedule during the winter season with weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Confident, approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to retain and communicate detailed information about Mountain School programs, rentals, and resort services.
• Proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and point-of-sale systems.
• Experience with RTP or similar rental systems is a plus.
• Previous experience in a ski/snowboard rental shop is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with rental equipment, ensuring accuracy and clear communication.
• Process transactions and manage inventory using point-of-sale systems.
• Set up and maintain outdoor facilities and teaching aids in varying weather conditions.
• Operate beginner lifts and shuttle vehicles as needed, staying alert and safety-focused.
• Deliver friendly guest service during high-volume periods and coordinate with Mountain School staff.
• Provide uniform support for Mountain School staff using digital systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Keep indoor and outdoor workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
