Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Media Coordinator for Homewood Mountain & Lake Club on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, California. The role focuses on planning, capturing, editing, organizing, and distributing photo and video content to bring the resort experience to life for marketing channels.

You will collaborate with the Resort Marketing Manager, Communications Coordinator, and Content Creator to document mountain conditions, guests, events, and operations in real time while maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong photography and videography skills for outdoor, action, lifestyle, hospitality, or resort content.
• Proficient with mirrorless cameras, action cams, gimbals, drones, and related gear.
• Experience editing with Adobe CC; DaVinci Resolve or similar software preferred.
• Strong file-management and ability to organize media assets.
• Ability to work independently within a small, fast-moving team.
• Excellent communication and guest-facing interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and capture high-quality photography and video for website, social media, advertising, and events.
• Edit photos and video using Adobe CC, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable tools.
• Offload, back up, organize, and maintain digital media libraries.
• Identify timely stories with managers to capture experiences and moments.
• Support campaigns, seasonal storytelling, events and special projects.
• Coordinate visiting film crews, photographers, media partners, and influencers.
