Job summary

Discovery Land Company’s Homewood Mountain & Lake Club in California seeks a Content Creator for Photo & Video to capture authentic mountain content for social, digital channels, and events. You’ll work with the Resort Marketing Manager and Media Coordinator, balancing planned shoots with real-time moments on the mountain.

The role suits someone with strong skiing or riding ability, camera skills, and the flexibility to operate in active environments while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Strong photography and videography skills with an eye for outdoor or resort content.
• Proficiency with mirrorless cameras, action cameras, gimbals, and production equipment.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software.
• Able to work independently in the field and collaborate with the Resort Marketing Team.
• Excellent file-management and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photography and video of mountain conditions, skiing and riding, events, guest experiences, community moments, and resort operations.
• Assist the Media Coordinator and Resort Marketing Manager with planned shoots, campaigns, events, and special projects.
• Capture short-form and real-time content for Homewood social and digital channels.
• Edit content using Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Maintain file-management, naming, upload and backup processes for efficient reuse.
• Create content that represents Homewood's mountain experience and West Shore setting.
• Work with resort departments while content is captured in active environments.
• Maintain Homewood brand standards and professional conduct around guests.
