Silver Mountain is seeking a Mountain Manager to lead lift operations and maintenance across all departments including snowmaking, grooming, and safety systems. You will develop plans, train staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with ANSI standards to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will hire and coach supervisors, schedule personnel, and maintain smooth operations while serving as acting GM when needed.

Qualifications

Must have good math skills.
Must possess a valid Idaho driver's license.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be able to prioritize and organize workload.
Must be highly motivated and organized.
Must be positive, energetic toward staff and guests.
Must handle complaints calmly and professionally.
Must manage diverse personalities and follow procedures.
Must be flexible in work schedule.
Must have electrical experience.

Responsabilités

Oversee Lift Maintenance, Patrol, Snowmaking, Vehicle, Building Maintenance, Water and Sewer Systems, Snow Grooming and Gondola/Lift Operations.
Develop operation plans for key operational elements of the business.
Create emergency procedures and evacuation plans for chairlifts and gondolas.
Ensure plans meet ANSI and Industry standards.
Oversee Safety Plans and staff training.
Hire, train, and develop supervisory personnel; conduct reviews and meetings.
Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing.
Motivate employees to achieve Silver Mountain objectives.
Manage budgets and payroll reporting; comply with laws.
Maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of operations.
Support guest satisfaction and coordinate with other departments.
Assume General Manager duties in absence.
