Job summary

Sun Valley Lodge seeks a River Run Lodge Manager to lead restaurant operations at the base of Bald Mountain. You will deliver exceptional hospitality and create an enjoyable dining experience for every guest.

Responsibilities include scheduling, labor tracking with Kronos, ordering supplies, and training staff to Sun Valley Resort Service Standards, while ensuring guests are served with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of practical restaurant service experience.
• Knowledge of daily financial aspects of restaurant management.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must work in a noisy atmosphere.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to ~75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff according to reservations, hotel occupancy, and forecasted skier visits.
• Track daily labor and maintain timekeeping using Kronos.
• Order products and supplies to support Front of House operations.
• Train staff with Sun Valley Resort Service Standards.
• Manage all restaurant services and ensure guest needs are met professionally.
• Communicate with dining room staff and chef on duty, sharing updates and ordering linens.
• Address concerns and resolve problems quickly and professionally.
