Qualifications

• 3+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of practical restaurant service experience.
• Knowledge of daily financial aspects of restaurant management.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must work in a noisy atmosphere.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to ~75 pounds.

Description

The River Run Lodge Manager leads restaurant operations at the base of Bald Mountain, delivering exceptional hospitality and creating an enjoyable dining experience for every guest.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Schedule staff according to reservations, hotel occupancy, and/or forecasted skier visits.
• Track daily labor and maintain timekeeping using Kronos.
• Order products and supplies to support Front of House operations.
• Train staff with the proper technique of Sun Valley Resort Service Standards.
• Manage all restaurant services and ensure the guests' needs are taken care of professionally and graciously.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to cooperate with the dining room staff and the chef on duty, including sharing menu and reservation updates and ordering linens and additional supplies.
• Address concerns and resolve problems in a swift and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical restaurant service experience .
• Knowledge of/experience with daily financial aspects of restaurant management.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a noisy atmosphere.
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching.
• Must safely move objects up to approximately 75 pounds about the workplace.
