Sun Valley Resort is seeking a River Run Lodge Manager to lead restaurant operations at the base of Bald Mountain, delivering exceptional hospitality and a premier dining experience for every guest.

The role requires coordinating staff, tracking labor with Kronos, ordering supplies, and training teams to Sun Valley Resort Service Standards while ensuring guest needs are met with professionalism and warmth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical restaurant service experience.
• Knowledge of/experience with daily financial aspects of restaurant management.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a noisy atmosphere.
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and using hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching.
• Must safely move objects up to approximately 75 pounds about the workplace.

• Schedule staff according to reservations, hotel occupancy, and/or forecasted skier visits.
• Track daily labor and maintain timekeeping using Kronos.
• Order products and supplies to support Front of House operations.
• Train staff with the proper technique of Sun Valley Resort Service Standards.
• Manage all restaurant services and ensure the guests' needs are taken care of professionally and graciously.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to cooperate with the dining room staff and the chef on duty, including sharing menu and reservation updates and ordering linens and additional supplies.
• Address concerns and resolve problems in a swift and professional manner.
