Job summary

Massachusetts Correctional Institution—Shirley is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to administer MOUD medications to incarcerated patients and to triage those referred to treatment for opioid or alcohol use disorders. The role requires precise medication handling and strict adherence to regulatory standards.

Work hours are 5:00am–1:00pm, 16 hours per week, with a $10/hour weekend differential. A valid MA nursing license and CPR/BLS are required; DOC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid MA nursing license from an accredited school.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients in MOUD program.
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for OUD and/or Alcohol Use Disorder.
• Counting and administering medications per state and federal standards.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
