The City of New York, Department of Transportation, seeks a detail-oriented planner to coordinate MOUs and related agreements for the DOT capital program and interagency initiatives, primarily with the MTA. Competenze

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field as listed.
• Experience coordinating MOUs or interagency agreements is preferred.
• Experience with transportation planning, budget, and legal coordination is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Coordinate preparation and review of MOUs and related agreements with DOT divisions, Legal Affairs, and partner agencies.
• Gather and synthesize project information to define agency responsibilities, funding, schedules, and maintenance obligations.
• Prepare draft agreement language, materials, and briefing documents in coordination with staff and legal counsel.
• Organize interagency meetings, document decisions, and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Review project scopes, cost estimates, and documents to identify issues requiring clarification or agreement.
• Maintain a centralized inventory of proposed and executed agreements with status and deadlines.
• Identify delays and policy/funding/operational issues; develop recommendations for leadership decisions.
• Track implementation of agreements and coordinate amendments as needed.
• Develop templates, procedures, and tracking tools to improve consistency and turnaround times.
• Perform related planning, research, analysis, and coordination duties.

Master's degree in transportation engineering, mathematics, urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, urban studies, or related fields

High school diploma + 6 years relevant experience
