Job summary

Ferman Automotive Group in Florida is seeking a Motorcycle Service Advisor to be the main contact between guests and the service department. You will greet guests, document concerns, create repair orders, explain maintenance, and communicate progress to ensure a smooth service experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong guest service and motorcycle knowledge, experience with DMS, and a passion for powersports. Prior Harley-Davidson or powersports experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical training in Motorcycle, Powersports, or Automotive Technology preferred.
• 1–3 years of guest service or powersports experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and document motorcycle concerns and service needs.
• Create and manage repair orders per dealership procedures.
• Explain maintenance and repair requirements and estimates.
• Update guests on progress and timelines.
• Coordinate with technicians for diagnosis and workflow.
• Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Upsell maintenance, accessories, and upgrades when appropriate.
• Schedule service appointments and manage daily shop traffic.
• Coordinate with Parts to ensure parts availability.
• Handle warranty claims per manufacturer guidelines.
• Address concerns and resolve issues professionally.
• Follow up with guests after service to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain records in the DMS.
• Support goals related to guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
