Job summary

US Air-Combat-Command is seeking candidates for a Non-appropriated Fund position assigned to Shaw AFB Youth Programs. Open to all applicants, with preferences and eligibility considerations detailed in the posting.

Qualified individuals will operate and maneuver vehicles over 10,000 pounds, may require a CDL for 16+ passengers, and must pass a pre-employment physical plus National Agency Check with Inquiries and local checks. Drug testing is required.

Qualifications

  • Must have skill in maneuvering and driving vehicles weighing more than 10,000 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds.
  • Must have knowledge of sizes and weights of vehicles.
  • Must be able to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) if transporting 16 or more passengers including the driver.
  • Must be able to frequently handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot control.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI), State Criminal repository check and Installation records Check.

About the position:

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Shaw AFB Youth Programs.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
