Job summary

This position is located in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department on NAS Lemoore and involves operating vehicles to pick up orders, deliver takeout food, and maintain cleanliness of equipment.

The incumbent will deliver orders to patrons on base, keep trip records, and perform basic vehicle maintenance. A pre-employment physical and food handlers certificate are required, along with a background check.

Qualifications

  • Read and understand a road map to determine the shortest and safest route.
  • Knowledge of defensive driving techniques to avoid accidents to transport items safely.
  • Knowledge and skill to conduct preventative maintenance of vehicles.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and obtain a food handlers certificate.
  • Must be able to answer telephones and take delivery orders.
  • Must be courteous, friendly and able to work well with others.

Duties

Help

Requirements

  • Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
  • Must have a current/valid state issued driver's license.
  • Must have general vehicle operation experience.

This position does not have a positive education requirement.

Additional information
