Under general direction of the Driver License Program Manager, this position will supervise and direct the work of ten motor vehicle customer service representatives. This role involves carrying out functions to meet Title 28 statutory requirements, Chapter 02 of the Alaska Administrative Code, and 49 CFR Federal regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include researching driver´s license actions, taking actions against commercial and non-commercial driver´s license privileges, setting up hearings regarding driver´s license actions, and educating field services, law enforcement, legislators, government agencies, and the public on driver´s license actions and the commercial license program.
