Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Pennsylvania Modification Center. You will supervise motor modification production and personnel across locations, ensuring tasks are clear, issues are resolved, and processes are continuously improved.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, handling interviewing and training, and ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of standard electric motor designs.
• Experience supervising production in motor modification environments.
• Proficient with SAP and MS Office tools.
• Strong leadership, coaching and delegation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjust team workload to meet production targets.
• Provide tools, training and standardized processes for daily ops.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure workflow.
• Mentor junior team members and train new hires.
• Interview, hire, train and manage employees per policy.
• Maintain clean, safe, professional production areas.
• Lead continuous improvements and monitor quality.
• Develop and execute training plans for team members.
• Ensure materials and tools meet delivery schedules.
• Attend intra-department meetings on scheduling, production and quality.
